 New news. This version of geeklog has an rdf feed. Looks like it may need a bit of improving, but it can be found at http://www.scribes-write.co.uk/backend/geeklog.rdf
Next time I will RTFM a bit more carefully. The feed could do with a bit of work, but seems ideal for keeping up with Scribes Write through the occasional dry spells!

| Well, I managed to sort out the code for rewriting the url at both the server level and within this CMS. I have currently only rewritten it for the articles, but I should be able to apply it to the rest of the website at my leisure.

Ok, writing that promise to myself was a little premature. Especially considering I was about to take a three week vacation thousands of miles away, sans connectivity.
At any rate, I've had a little rethink about what I am to do with this site and I have decided to try and look at the quirkier side of life. I will continue with the search engine and technology based news, as it is what I do, but I'm gonna start looking for more offbeat stories and news articles.

I will write up at least half a dozen of those articles that I have been stockpiling over the last couple of months.
For those of you interested enough to care, they should include topics such as doomsday prophecies, biometrics, cemeteries, search engine news and more. Bet you can't wait now...

| Ok well I'm starting to pick up the basics. I have set the default theme to one the that I am playing with and starting to work out how the pages are generated.
