TechnologyOver the last few years there has been relatively little publicity for the once heralded corner of computing known as voice recognition. However, I just came across this article on the BBC about a new translating device from Russian company Ectaco.

In case you're wondering over my interest in this area, in what seems like a previous life, I conducted an investigation into the practical application of voice recognition technology.

TechnologyI have always felt an affinity for books, so whenever I see headlines proclaiming their imminent death I have a tendency to roll my eyes.

Still, that being said people will always continue to innovate ideas such as this latest e-book from Hewlett Packard.
